COACHES

Ashley is one of the founding members of Mentality Volleyball Club, heading the 18s team since the club's inception in 2020. She is a Kansas City native, having played at and graduated from Raytown High School.

After high school, she continued her volleyball career at Highland Community College. She then moved to Wisconsin to pursue higher education, where she coached 14U at Starlings Madison before moving back to Kansas City.

She returned to Raytown High School as the C-Team head coach and varsity assistant under Nyala Bulock, where she then joined Mentality. She has since left coaching high school volleyball to fully focus on club year-round.

Ashley thrives in a competitive, fast-paced environment with players who are willing to work hard for every rep and push their limits. She loves travelling and competing at big venues - the energy is unmatched! Her goal every season is to not only grow her players' skills, but their love for the game and their confidence both on and off the court.

Her favorite part of last season, outside of her 18s team being an insanely funny and kind group of young ladies, was the NCAA Championship watch party the club hosted (go Aggies)!

Outside of volleyball, Ashley loves reading, crochet, knitting, going to the gym, and a good matcha latte.
